Match Preview

KSB's first competitive match of the season sees them travel the short journey to Bridge Bolton in the group stage of the Charity Cup. The Division 2 side beat the Streeters in the same competition last year and so manager Math Pickup will be expecting a tough game.

Key players are unavailable including Liam Mitchell, Adam Taylor, Brad Hartley, top scorers Daniel Taylor and Joe Baldwin, and Saturday's MOTM Matt Haworth. There are therefore call-ups for Lee Malins, Tom Pickup, Will Cooper and Jonny Rigby. There are first competitive appearances for Joe Hall and Isaac Whitham, and a first KSB game for Rick Goldie.
